Stars vs. Birds

In Houston, the honk of a horn can mean one of two things: 1. You've left your drink, your book, your cat, or your child on the top of your car. 2. You've committed some egregious offense resulting in your impending execution.

Tonight it meant something completely different. The Astros are going to the World Series. 11 o'clock at night and people were honking at me, yelling. It was a bit unnerving until I realized what was going on. It was a nice feeling to see all these people that wouldn't normally have anything to do with one another celebrating together.

Oh. And I heard this on the radio tonight.

"We will ... beat you ... White Sox." -- to the tune of "We Will Rock You" by Queen.

Go 'Stros!
