the remote areas of west tx are fascinating. I pray it doesn't ever become a trendy area to move to like arizona, which is now ruined. I want to move to the REAL country in 13 years when I retire. I pray it will still be unspoiled and unpopulated. It IS vast, and currently people are still going "You want to live WHERE??", which makes me happy. But until about 10 years ago people said the same thing about AZ too. I'll be glad to get the ^%#^ out of Dallas. By the time I retire, the entire eastern half of tx will be one big crack house.
I used to live in Houston. I now live closer to the town of my birth, Big Spring. I do not live there, though. I split my time evenly between a small, unnamed West Texas town and Lubbock, the land of Texas Tech and Buddy Holly. I take photos, lots of them and in doing so, I'm slowly learning about the world around me. I've had a Nikon D40 for the last 6 mos and still discover new things everyday about it and photography in general. Please do not use any of these photos without my express written permission. An email will work.
